Data management policies and strategies in Government

This report shows the benefits of effective data deployment, highlights national data management strategies, and shows how governments in the Asia and Pacific region can use data driven approaches to improve governance and growth. Many governments have embarked on policy initiatives and regulatory reforms that demonstrate a desire to actively manage their data, facilitate sharing, and set up much needed regulatory frameworks. This technical study copublished with Amazon Web Service Institute has been developed to aid governments in developing holistic approaches to conceptualizing, creating, and implementing data management policies and practices.
